Mahon Point Farmers Market

Held every Thursday from 10am to 3pm. One of the biggest and the best weekday markets is Mahon Point Farmer's Market – a firm favourite and long-time fixture on the city scene.

This large market, in the plaza at the main entrance to the Mahon Point Shopping Centre, is where you will find some of the best producers from North, East and West Cork setting up stall to feed their city cousins. It’s a dizzying mix of organic farmers, canny shoppers, artisans, mobile baristas and office workers, cruising the street-food stalls to find that once-a-week lunchtime treat.

Well connected and easy-to-find (just off the southern ring-road and close to the Jack Lynch Tunnel) it’s a great market for a big shop, if you are heading through the city or dropping in to stock up for a few days.
