Sea Harvest

Regina is the founder of Reeso Health Foods and trade as Sea Harvest. Their USP is seaweed, a red algae called lithothamnium calcareum, the seaweed is harvested off the west coast of Ireland and Iceland.

The seaweed is high in calcium and 74 trace minerals. They have added the seaweed to a date and apricot bar along with vitamin D to absorb the calcium and vitamin K2 to direct the calcium to the bones and teeth. Their nutritional bar with the calcium from the sea, vitamin D and vitamin K2 has been formulated for optimum bone and cardiovascular health.

There is a lot of science in their bar but they present it in a fun cool way. They called the bar Wave Superfood and their tagline is 'Ride the Wave of Health'.  

Lastly, they also provide their seaweed mix (calcium, vitamin D and vitamin K2) to other producers so that they may fortify their goods. They are working at the trial stage with a number of local Irish producers of gluten- free cookies, biscuits and savoury snacks.
